Yollanda Bornhoff, a native of Romania, started piano studies at age five.
Being recognized as having musical talent her skills were further guided by
highly recognized teachers: Musicescu, Gutman and Plattner at Bucharest
Conservatory.
Upon moving to the United States, Yollanda received advanced degrees in
piano and organ performance from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and
the University of Washington at Seattle. She is well known as a teacher and
church Music Director as well as a keyboard artist. Appearing in solo and
chamber music recitals in France, Switzerland, Canada, North Africa and United
States, as a versatile keyboard performer her repertoire encompasses
harpsichord, organ and piano works of musical literature over several centuries.
